Educational Qualifications:
Candidate must possess Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board / University.
For the post of Constable (Fitter), candidates must have passed Motor Vehicle Fitter Course (Automobiles) / Motor Mechanic Course from ITI or any other recognized Institutions and for post of CT (Driver), candidates should possess “Transport Vehicle” driving licence. For more details candidate should refer to the notification.
Age Limit:18 -23 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-08-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Application Fee:
Application fee of Rs. 50/- In form of crossed Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque drawn in favour of “The Deputy Inspector General of Police”.
Male candidates belonging to SC and ST Categories and Female candidates are not required to pay application fee
